The Birmingham quartet have been repeatedly categorised with New Yorkers Interpol over both groups' identifiable dark post-punk revival sound; whereas the latter lightened up shortly after their debut album, the former waited until their third album to become totally positive. The Back Room and An End Has A Start can be best characterised by lead singer and guitarist Tom Smith's Ian Curtis-esque vocal delivery. Munich, from The Back Room, is below, and is a good example of the band's sound.
