MC Devvo & Shady Piez

Yorkshire-based pair MC Devvo & Shady Piez are actually two fictional creations from Fat-Pie's David Firth and Christian Pickup, who are generally a parody of chav culture in general. This duo was formed as a musical project in February 2006, and were the only artist signed to the Fat-Pie Records label. with firstly a 7" vinyl of Fuck 'Em Young b/w Crystal Meffin' in October, followed by the In Tha Bog EP, available for download in December of that year. The duo's CD/DVD album, From Yorkshire 2 New York, was released in September 2007, coming 5 months after their second single, Donny Soldier / Cosmic Lazer, was released.
