The Ordinary Boys
Formed in Worthing in 2002, ska-influenced four piece The Ordinary Boys' debut single Maybe Someday from 2003 was released on the B-Unique label, also home to The Automatic. This was followed in early 2004 by Week In Week Out, with highest charting single Talk Talk Talk, which hit #17 in July, released prior to the album, Over The Counter Culture in August. Seaside was released after the album. The group returned in June 2005 with Boys Will Be Boys, followed 2 weeks later on the 20th by their second album Brassbound. Life Will Be The Death Of Me was released in August, but failed to hit the Top 40, coming in at #50. After lead singer Samuel Preston appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2006, Boys Will Be Boys resurged to #3 in the charts, with the album hitting #11 on the album charts. The group's third album was preceded firstly in May by the group's remake of Lady Sovereign's 9 To 5, and the single Lonely At The Top, released one week before How To Get Everything You Ever Wanted In Ten Easy Steps dropped on 23rd October. The group's last single was January 2007's I Luv U, before the band split in early 2008. Talk Talk Talk's video is below, with the downloads afterwards.
