Graham Coxon

Graham Coxon is best known as the guitarist from Blur. But during the band's "rough years", when the relationship between him and the rest of the group was starting to fray, he recorded his first solo album in 1998, The Sky Is Too High, which was an incredibly lo-fi and sullen affair but was still very good. Consequent albums - 2000's The Golden D and 2001's Crow Sit On Blood Tree - were in the same sullen style. But when he left Blur in 2002, he became much more positive, with The Kiss Of Morning (released in the same year), and follow ups Happiness In Magazines in 2004, featuring hit single Freakin' Out, and Love Travels At Illegal Speeds in 2006 showing this. For his most recent work, 2009's The Spinning Top, Coxon decided to go for a conceptual folk approach, with reviews of the album being positive. A fan video for LTAIS' lead single Standing On My Own Again can be seen below, with the downloads following on.
