Pull Tiger Tail

Formed at Goldsmiths College in 2006, Pull Tiger Tail had their first gig in February of that year, and released their debut single, Animator on hand-designed 7" and CD (the single was titled L'animateur for the CD version) on the Young And Lost Club label in September. After this was released, they signed to the B-Unique label and released their first single with them, the free download of Mr 100 Percent in December. The group's album was recorded in February 2007, and consequently the group's third single, Let's Lightning, was released in March. PTT's last B-Unique single would also prove to be the start of the group's breakup. June's Hurricanes was set for the group's first ever UK Top 40 single. Unfortunately, an iTunes error caused several copies not to be counted, resulting in the single missing the Top 40. B-Unique then dropped the group and kept possession of their album, meaning that it was unlikely to be released. However, PTT's never-say-die spirit prevailed, and after a strenuous and long-lasting legal battle, the group got possession of the album in early 2009 (following the group's final single of Mary Jane, released on the YALC label once more in June 2008) and the album, PAWS., was finally released in August, although the group announced that they were to break up after one final tour, and were also going to release a rarities album. The rarities album, The Lost World, was mistakenly uploaded to the band's online store in November before quickly being taken down, although the actual release was in December. With this, the group officially disbanded, bringing an end to what could have been a great career for the trio. Mr 100 Percent's video is below, with the downloads as well.
