Matt & Kim

Brooklyn keys-and-drums duo Matt & Kim formed their musical partnership at Pratt University in 2004, releasing their To/From demo CD-R on 8th October 2005. They released their self-titled album near-on exactly one year later, although it was repressed by Tellé Records and sold it in Europe in August 2007, with the Silver Tiles single being released in November 2006 as part of the Moshi Moshi Singles Club. Yea Yeah was the only actual single from the album, released in Europe shortly after the album. The group's follow-up album, Grand, released in January 2009, got mass critical and commercial acclaim, with lead single Daylight, released in October 2008, becoming one of the duo's best known tracks. Lessons Learned followed in June, which is best known for its X-rated video. Yea Yeah's video is below, with downloads afterwards.
