Malajube

Francophone four-piece Malajube (Renaud Bastien left shortly after the group's second album) formed in 2002 and became known in their native Québéc after the release of their debut album Le Compte Complet in November 2004. Following this album, the follow-up Trompe-l'œil dropped in February 2006, gaining the band new fans not only in their native land, but in English Canada and the United States, which is considered quite spectacular for a non-English speaking group. Singles Pâte Filo and Étienne D'août also helped the band increase their fanbase. Third album Labyrinthes was released nearly exactly three years later from their previous album, and received much critical acclaim in the whole of Canada and the US. Pâte Filo's video is below, with the downloads as well.
